New Eric Clapton Exhibition At Genesis
We are opening an Eric Clapton exhibit at our
publishing house next month. The show will be based on
SIX-STRING STORIES and will run from 6th to 31st December. Visits will be by appointment to view, with at least one open day during the month. The first open day will be on Saturday 7th December.
SIX-STRING STORIES catalogues nearly 300 guitars Eric Clapton sold at auction between 1999 and 2011, to benefit the
Crossroads Centre. In so doing, his new book tells the story of a 50-year career, with original text, memorabilia and rare and unseen photos from the legendary musician's personal archives.
"This has been an exciting book to do with Eric Clapton,” says Nick Roylance, co-owner of Genesis Publications, "It’s the third book we’ve done together over the last 20 years, but it’s the first time we’ve mounted an exhibition inspired by one of them.”
