World Book Night 5th March 2011

A million books are to be given away across the UK tomorrow evening in a glorious celebration of literature and the written word. World Book Night kicks off tonight in Trafalgar Square, London, with a host of celebrities handing out free copies of their favourite books. The audience will be treated to wide-ranging performances and readings from some of the most celebrated artists from stage and screen, art and literature, as well as from some of the World Book Night authors. Compered by comedian Graham Norton, special guests include Mark Haddon, Edna O'Brien, DBC Pierre, Philip Pullman, Lemn Sissay, Sarah Waters, Alan Bennett, Margaret Atwood, Nick Cave, John Le Carre and Rupert Everett

The authors of many Genesis books are also keen to help others and have not only dedicated their time and personal effects to produce these unique limited edition books but have also donated royalties in aid of charities that help people throughout the world. These include:
