Tom Morello Launches New EP This Friday

Tom Morello has announced on social media that his new EP, entitled Comandante, launches this Friday. Tracks include, 'Voodoo Child', 'Interstate 80' which features Slash, 'Secretariat', 'Suburban Guerrilla' and 'Cato Stedman & Neptune Frost'. 'Secretariat' is a tribute to Eddie Van Halen who sadly passed away earlier this month.

Lockdown has proved to be a productive time for the musician and activist, who has continued to share new protest songs and collaborative projects with fans throughout the pandemic. The EP launch also comes just three days after the release of his photo memoir, Whatever It Takes. Again taking to social media to share the news, Morello described the contents of the book. 'This book is a comprehensive, visual deep-dive into my life, music and activism spanning the years, the guitars, the bands, the songs, the concerts and protests that have defined it.'

Whatever It Takes is available online and from all good bookstores now, with a signed, limited edition to follow in December.
