This Week in 1969: The Doors at Madison Square Garden
55 years ago this week, The Doors took to the stage at Madison Square Garden for an audience of approximately 20,000 people. Making them one of the highest-paid acts of 1969, the band were paid over $50,000 for the show and their setlist featured rare live performances of 'The Soft Parade' and 'Who Scared You', along with fan favourites such as 'Light My Fire,' and 'Wild Child'.
