The Rolling Stones made their firstappearance at Glastonbury, headlining the Pyramid Stage on Saturday 27thJune.

During their two-and-a-half-hour strongset, the Stones played classic tracks including encores ‘You Can’t Always GetWhat You Want’ and ‘Satisfaction’, with Mick Taylor joining Mick, Keith, Ronnieand Charlie onstage for several songs.
Highlights included a phoenix rising fromthe Pyramid Stage amidst blasts of fire during ‘Sympathy for the Devil’; a rareperformance of ‘2000 Light Years From Home’; and a song written especially forthe occasion, a reworking of ‘Factory Girl’ entitled ‘Glastonbury Girl’.
