The film, The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus, is due to return to the big screen in time for The Rolling Stones' North American leg of their 'No Filter' tour. For the first four days in April, the rock film will feature across North America.
Shot before a live London audience in 1968, the movie was not officially released until 1996. Directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg, who also directed the Beatles documentary Let It Be, Rock and Roll Circus features the Stones, the Who, Eric Clapton, John Lennon and more.
The show also includes the one-off performance by Dirty Mac - a collaboration made up of John Lennon (his first performance outside of The Beatles), Yoko Ono, Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, Mitch Mitchell and Ivry Gitlis - and Brian Jones' final appearance onstage with The Rolling Stones.
