Rolling Stones Back On Tour - Sort Of...

As music tours worldwide are on an indefinite hiatus due to Covid-19, there is good news for Stones fans from the Netherlands. The touring exhibition formally known as "Exhibitionism" is to open as "Unzipped" at the Groninger Museum in November. Following stints in London, the United States and Asia, the show will tour Europe in revamped form, premiering in Groningen from Saturday 14 November 2020 to Sunday 28 February 2021.

The show boasts more than 400 original objects from the Stones' own collection. Along with instruments and stage designs, it includes rare audio fragments and video footage, personal diaries, iconic costumes, posters, album covers and even the band's studio and their modest London flat at Edith Grove.

It may not be the same as seeing the band live, but for Stones fans it will whet the appetite until live music is back on stage.

So too might a couple of Genesis editions: T.O.T.A. '75 - The Rolling Stones Tour of the Americas '75 is the band's official tour diary of that tour and The Set Lists of the Rolling Stones is a collection of Ronnie Wood's vivid set list paintings alongside his own commentary chronicling rehearsals and gigs that have taken place over the last two decades.
