Paul McCartney Lyric Book Announced

A two-volume, 900-page lyric book by Paul McCartney has been unveiled, set to be published by Penguin Random House this November. The Lyrics will cover the first songs written by McCartney, as well as songs written with the Beatles, through to Wings and his solo career, up to the present date. Rather than a traditional autobiography, the book will cover the inspiration behind the lyrics and McCartney's reflections on them.

The cover shows a young Paul in the back garden of his family home, a photograph taken by his brother, Mike McCartney. The photograph also features in a recently announced limited edition book with Genesis Publications, Mike McCartney's Early Liverpool.
