Paul McCartney Lyric Book Announced
A two-volume, 900-page lyric book by Paul McCartney has been unveiled, set to be published by Penguin Random House this November.
The Lyrics will cover the first songs written by McCartney, as well as songs written with the Beatles, through to Wings and his solo career, up to the present date. Rather than a traditional autobiography, the book will cover the inspiration behind the lyrics and McCartney's reflections on them.
'Some people, when they get to a certain age, like to go to a diary to recall day-to-day events from the past, but I have no such notebooks. What I do have are my songs, hundreds of them, which I've learned serve much the same purpose. And these songs span my entire life.' -

Mike McCartney's Early Liverpool. The signed limited edition brings together Mike McCartney's finest work including a wealth of previously unseen photographs and treasured drawings.
Mike McCartney's Early Liverpool takes us from his very first photograph through to capturing the Merseybeat scene in Liverpool. From the Beatles to the Fourmost, and from the Roadrunners to Rory Storm and the Hurricanes, McCartney captured the local bands as well as the incredible visiting acts that Liverpool welcomed.
