Stones fans will know that in December 2015 - three years ago this week - the band were in British Grove Studios recording what would become their Grammy-award-winning album, Blue & Lonesome. What wasn't known until now is that they also rehearsed new Stones tracks that haven't yet seen the light of day.
In our new Ronnie Wood book, The Rolling Stones Set Lists, the track information and running order from these recording sessions are exclusively revealed for the first time, with new Stones songs, 'Bad Luck Hideaway', 'Fool's Paradise', 'Bottom Of My Heart' and 'Never There' documented by Ronnie over the course of the five-day session.
Ronnie's latest edition features an introduction by Mick Jagger and further insights (like the one above) into one of the world's most influential rock groups, and is available in two versions:
Set Pieces is limited to 1,000 signed copies and presented in a gold and purple screen-printed cover, quarter-bound in burgundy leather. Ready Set Go! is a signed book and print set, limited to 425 copies. The book is quarter-bound in royal blue leather and the print framed with a UV-protective glaze. The print that is part of this set includes a note from Keith Richards, 'We stop on fishes', which refers to the end lyrics of the track 'Blue and Lonesome'.
Since 1974 Genesis has created signed limited edition books on behalf of authors and artists ranging from the Beatles to Buckingham Palace.
