Mick Fleetwood's Concert for Peter Green Coming to UK Cinemas

Earlier this year, Mick Fleetwood and a line-up of legendary musicians took part in a tribute concert, celebrating the music of Fleetwood Mac's founder, Peter Green. Now, it has been announced that the concert will be brought to a wider audience when it airs in UK cinemas in March 2021. It will also be released on Blu-Ray, vinyl and CD on 30th April 2021.

At the concert Mick Fleetwood was joined by a host of guests including Noel Gallagher, Andy Fairweather Low, John Mayall, Zack Starkey and Pete Townsend, who powered through the songs of Fleetwood Mac's early years. It was an impressive and moving show. Genesis subscribers will recall how this era is brought vividly to life in Mick Fleetwood's recent edition Love That Burns, also dedicated to Peter Green, and indeed the book's pages provided the visual backdrop for the concert.

Sadly, Peter Green died a few months after the concert. Mick Fleetwood commented:'No one has ever stepped into the ranks of Fleetwood Mac without a reverence for Peter Green and his talent, and to the fact that music should shine bright and always be delivered with uncompromising passion!!!'
