John Lennon Box Set Announced

Gimme Some Truth. The Ultimate Mixes, a new box set featuring 36 John Lennon solo tracks, has been announced this week. Curated and executive produced by Yoko Ono and Sean Ono Lennon, it is due to be released on October 9th, on what would have been John Lennon's 80th birthday.

Gimme Some Truth was mixed by Paul Hicks with assistance from engineer Sam Gannon. The final mixes of Lennon's tracks were completed with vintage analog equipment at L.A.'s Henson Recording Studio, and mastered in analog by Alex Wharton at the famed Abbey Road Studios.The box set is available in digital, vinyl, and CD editions.
