Happy Birthday Mick Fleetwood!

Fleetwood Mac founder, drummer and Genesis author, Mick Fleetwood turns 73 today. Genesis was lucky enough to see Fleetwood Mac in concert at Wembley Stadium in London last year and it is safe to say that there are very few in their twenties that could pull off the drum solo Fleetwood was performing each night.

Mick Fleetwood is a legend and a superb author, as his book, Love That Burns - A Chronicle of Fleetwood Mac, Volume One: 1967-1974 shows. In it he recounts the fascinating early blues-fuelled days of the band and his lifelong admiration for his early band mate and mentor Peter Green (who makes a rare contribution to this book) for whom he organised a tribute concert in February this year.
