Elliott Landy, Bob Gruen, Mick Rock and More Feature in Magnum Print Sale

This year Magnum Photos' print sale displays an incredible array of prints by the world's most celebrated photographers. The sale, called 'Works of Imagination', brings together a selection of over 100 images capturing stories to inspire our imagination. Each of the prints are either signed or estate-stamped and priced at $100 for a limited time.

A number of the photographers have collaborated with Genesis Publications, creating limited editions with us, showcasing the best of their work. Of the prints on sale, one includes John Lennon in New York City by Bob Gruen. The image features on the cover of the Genesis Edition, Sometime in New York City, which details the life of John Lennon and Yoko Ono through the photographs of their friend, Bob Gruen.

A print of Iggy Pop by Mick Rock also features in the sale. A friend to Genesis, Mick Rock has published numerous photos as part of Genesis editions including Psychedelic Renegades, Transformer, Killer Queen and Moonage Daydream.

Iconic Sixties rock photographer Elliot Landy is another to feature in the sale with his photograph of Bob Dylan. Genesis subscribers will be familiar with Elliott Landy's superb work in Dylan in Woodstock. The book provides an unprecedented selection of unpublished pictures from the archive of Elliott Landy - over 120 photographs in black and white, the medium in which his work is best known, but also featuring 40 striking full-colour images and another 20 monochrome images printed in sepia or blue tints. Fewer than 50 copies remain.
