Chrissie Hynde is scheduled to perform at this year's BBC Proms in the Park. Returning to London's Hyde Park on Saturday 14th September, this outdoor event is part of the world-famous Last Night of the Proms.
Hosted by Michael Ball, the open-air concert will feature a vast array of performers from classical, rock and pop music to choirs and music theatre. The concert will also feature the 60-piece BBC Concert Orchestra, conducted by Richard Balcombe.
Alongside Chrissie Hynde, Barry Manilow, Jack Savoretti, Lighthouse Family and Gabrielle are scheduled to perform.
Proms in the Park celebrates the grand finale of the two-month-long Proms festival with outdoor live music and fireworks. Tickets start at £46 and are available from Royal Albert Hall or Ticketmaster or via SEE Tickets.
Chrissie Hynde's appearance at Proms in the Park will be coincide with the release of her new album, Valve Bone Woe. The album artwork for her latest release features in her recently published limited edition, Adding The Blue, a book that presents Chrissie's first collection of paintings.
