A Thousand Things - The London Launch

A Thousand Things, Paul Weller's new limited edition book and vinyl boxed set, celebrated its launch this week at the flagship Paul Smith store in Covent Garden, London. Copies of the limited edition are on display alongside framed photographs, vinyl record covers and memorabilia - all set to the backdrop of Paul Smith's classically inspired menswear. Weller released his new album, '22 Dreams' the same day and to mark the occasion both Paul and Sir Paul Smith signed an Epiphone Casino guitar, donated by Gibson, that will be auctioned for charity later this year. The guitar will be on display at the Paul Smith store until June 13.

A Thousand Things proved very popular with the guests, among them graphic designer Simon Halfon and Genesis author Geoff MacCormack whose travels with Bowie from 1973-76 are the subject of his signed limited edition, From Station to Station. Noted photographers such as Lawrence Watson and Pennie Smith mingled with musicians from Hard-Fi and The Kaiser Chiefs, as well as footballer Lee Dixon, and DJs Gary Crowley and Eddie Piller, all coming together in respect for the Modfather.

Genesis would like to thank everyone at Paul Smith for hosting the event and all those that attended. Copies of A Thousand Things are selling fast. To order yours click here.
