50th Anniversary Re-Recording of Tea for the Tillerman
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of his landmark album, Tea for the Tillerman, Cat Stevens / Yusef has re-recorded the record with original producer Paul Samwell-Smith and original guitarist Alun Davies. The album will be called, Tea for the Tillerman² and will be released on September 18th. Subscribers may remember that the album included famous tracks such as, "Wild World," "Father and Son," "Where Do the Children Play?". The new tracks are not exact recreations and Cat Stevens / Yusef hopes that the new versions will be appreciated saying,
"This album is very important because it's celebrating so many people, it's their soundtrack and people's memories are so intertwined with the notes of this album and the music of this album. I hope a lot of people will love to grow this new album.""
