'Yes Indeed!' Wins A Grammy Launch Night

On Tuesday (12th May) a private audience of GRAMMY members and Genesissubscribers were treated to an evening dedicated to the new limitededition book, 'Ray Charles, Yes Indeed!' Hosted at the GRAMMY Museum inLos Angeles it featured a presentation of rare footage and music andwas preceded by a panel discussion with Dr. Mable John, lead singer ofThe Raeletts and co-writer & producer of over 52 songs with RayCharles; Ray's Musical Director, Victor A. Vanacore; John Burk,award-winning producer (Genius Loves Company) who has worked withartists such as Paul McCartney, James Taylor and Norah Jones; and Ray'sbiographer, David Ritz, who has added the Afterword to 'Yes Indeed!'All were available to sign books afterwards.

Every copy from the sale of this new limited edition benefits childrenwith hearing disabilities. This charitable work is overseen by ValerieErvin, President of The Ray Charles Foundation who was in attendancewith Tony Gumina, President of The Ray Charles Marketing Group.
