‘Whiter Shade Of Pale’ - Most Played Song In 75 Years

BBC Radio 2 and PPL have compiled a list of the top 75 songs most heardin the UK since 1934. The top hit was Procol Harem’s ‘Whiter Shade ofPale’ and lead singer Gary Brooker said it was a ‘great and unsoughthonour’. In second place was Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ followed bythe Everly Brothers’ ‘All I Have To Do Is Dream’ in third. The Beatlesmanaged three places but surprisingly none in the top ten.
