USA Today aretrying to locate the people in Ringo Starr’s photograph – can you help?
Ringo took this picture during The Beatles’ first visit to the USA,almost 50 years ago. The Beatles were booked to play The Ed SullivanShow whilst still relatively unknown in America, but by the time theyarrived, they were greeted by a crowd of 4,000 fans. An estimated 73 millionpeople tuned in to see the show, and Beatlemania swept the States.
