Tony Sheridan 1940-2013

Tony Sheridan passed away on Saturday, February 16th, aged72. Sheridan was a major influence on The Beatles when they played with him inGermany in the early 1960s, introducing them to the sounds and styles thatwould shape their early image. The Beatles jumped at the chance to be part ofSheridan's house band at the Top Ten club and released 'My Bonnie' under thename Tony Sheridan and the Beat Boys in Germany, and as Tony Sheridan and TheBeatles in the UK. Sheridan has since worked as a musician and author, andwe're honoured to have had the chance to collaborate with him.
