The Who - What Can Be Said Or Shown That Hasn't Been Done Before?

It's a question asked by The Who fans worldwide. 'You might be surprised,' answers Goldmine Magazine in their recent review of the Genesis classic, Maximum Who. The article continues:

Like any other luxury volume from Genesis Publications, Maximum Who is a collector's dream. Its heavy, gilt-edged pages are a treat, and the photos - especially those in color - look absolutely gorgeous. You can tell that time, love and attention went into crafting this book.

The fun, however, comes from the band-mates' provided comments that accompany the photos, such as Roger Daltrey's lament of a photo taken at Surrey Docks, when the band was pushing its pop art look: 'My failed Steve Marriott haircut - due to curls.'

The full article can be found in their May 24th issue or in the 'On the Bookshelf' section of their website later this week.

This is the start of a series of reviews by the American magazine and website who, after seeing a Genesis title a few months ago, immediately asked to review more of our signed limited editions.
