The Rolling Stones Launch New Album Hackney Diamonds

After days of teasing their new album, The Rolling Stones have officially announced Hackney Diamonds, due for worldwide release on the 20th of October. Their first studio album of new songs since 2005, the band have confirmed the album will contain twelve new tracks, two of which recorded with Charlie Watts in 2019.

It has also been confirmed by the band that Steve Jordan will feature on Hackney Diamonds in Watts' place, with Keith Richards stating they recieved his blessing that Jordan should be the one to replace him if he wasn't around to record.

Sir Mick Jagger has said that the sound of the album is 'Angry', like that of the lead track which you can listen to below. He has also added that there will be a mixture of genres including love songs and ballads, with it also set to feature Lady Gaga and other rumoured guest stars such as Sir Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder.
