The Jeff Beck Group's Truth Album Released 50 Years Ago

Today, August 1st, marks 50 years since Truth, the debut album by the Jeff Beck Group.

Originally released in 1968, the album not only introduced the talents of Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood to a larger audience. Truth is also sometimes heralded due to the hard rock treatment of songs such as, 'You Shook Me' and 'Beck's Bolero', produced by Jimmy Page.

The Genesis edition, BECK01, lifts up the hood on Beck's life. Reflecting on his love for hot rodding and a life of rock 'n' roll, through his very own personal archives.
