Stills & Hendrix 'lost' Album Found
It has been reported that Stephen Stills has found an album he recorded with Jimi Hendrix. Previously lost, Stills admits that even he was unaware of its existence. A prolific recorder in the Sixties and Seventies, Stills is set to release the album through CSN band-mate Graham Nash.
Graham Nash: 'In the Seventies, he (Stills) was a recording fool. He just found a bloody album he made with Jimi Hendrix.'
Stephen Stills (from 'California Dreaming'): 'Jimi Hendrix and I had a secret plan of having a new band and no one ever new about it but then I found out years later that Mitch Mitchell knew because he wrote in his book, God bless him.'
Russ Kunkel (from 'California Dreaming'): 'Stephen Stills was one of the only people that Ahmet Ertegun gave a PO number to because he believed so much in his talent. So Stephen could go to any studio in the world, hire musicians and record - and he took advantage of it.'
