Ronnie Wood Becomes a Rolling Stone
On this day in 1975, it was announced via a press release that Ronnie Wood had officially become a member of the Rolling Stones. Transitioning from Faces, Ronnie had proved himself as the perfect guitarist for the band, and for him it had become something of a calling.
'I always knew, even when I was in the Birds, that I was going to be in the Rolling Stones.'
- Ronnie WoodIn that same year the Rolling Stones, now with a brand-new guitarist, went on a mammoth tour in North America and Ronnie's place within the band was cemented.
T.O.T.A '75, published with the Rolling Stones, captures the tour in its entirety with photographs, many of which are previously unseen, and the recollections of the band's trusted friend, Christopher Sykes.
T.O.T.A '75 also includes a vast archive of tour memorabilia including backstage passes and even hotel room keys.
In 2015, to celebrate 40 years since Ronnie joined the band, Genesis created 400 special Anniversary copies, each signed by Ronnie Wood and with a new cover inspired by his iconic Zemaitis guitar. Now, only 42 Anniversary Copies remain in this magnificent edition.
'This book is incredible. It takes me back to my first Stones tour.'
- Ronnie Wood
