Peto's Beatles: Book & Show Launch
Thursday 26th Jan saw the launch of
Now These Days Are Gone, a collection of unseen photographs of The Beatles, taken during the making of 'Help!'
The University of Dundee are custodians of the fascinating collection of some 500 previously unpublished images by renowned photojournalist, Michael Peto. Genesis is honoured to present them for the first time.
The book was launched at Hoopers Gallery where the University of Dundee now begins a 4-week show of the photos that is open to the public to attend. The exhibited prints are for sale and we recommend that any of our customers in the London area pop along if they have the chance.
At the private viewing we were delighted to see Michael Ross from New Jersey, a Genesis subscriber who happened to be in town (he was the winner of Ringo's Postcard Competition, back in April 2005) and Victoria Lukens from the Independent on Sunday who brought along an advance copy of the
Now These Days Are Gone feature story that was going to press.

Thanks to everyone who attended for their support and for the very positive feedback we received on the new book. Approved by Brian Roylance in the final stages of design, we have dedicated the book to his memory and hope you also find it a fitting new addition to the Genesis catalogue.
