Paul McCartney new album

Introducing Paul McCartney's Latest Album, Egypt Station

Paul McCartney has released his 17th solo album since The Beatles. Egypt Station contains 16-tracks and has been described as a musical travelogue, with each song depicting a different station along McCartney's musical journey.

Produced by Greg Kurstin via Capital Records, this album highlights, yet again, McCartney's unfaltering talent in songwriting. 15 tracks were written by McCartney himself, with only one co-write in the whole album, 'Fuh You', which was written with Ryan Tedder.

The arrangement of the album relies on McCartney playing bass and piano, as well as acoustic and electric guitar, harmonica, harpsichords, bongos, drums, tom-toms, synthesiser and so much more, which all add to the orchestra of the album.

In conjunction with the release of Egypt Station, McCartney will be embarking on his 2019 Freshen Up Tour, which already has stops plotted throughout Canada, Japan, UK and Europe for May and June next year.
