Hedleys x Karen Walker Pop-up Bookstore and Exhibition in Auckland

Hedleys Books and Karen Walker have teamed up to present a unique concept book store in Auckland, New Zealand throughout November and December. Celebrating the global release of the final 600 copies of the limited-edition book, and the 30th anniversary of the publication of Blinds & Shutters by Michael Cooper (an edition for which David Headley was the co-publisher) the pop-up space features copies of the book and limited edition prints from the book for sale.

David Hedley says of the pop-up, "Hedleys Books has a proud heritage of 112 years of presenting the best books to New Zealand readers and this summer's pop-up at Britomart is a wonderful continuation of that journey."

Tailor-made for Christmas shoppers, the store also features a curated selection of over 100 beautiful books, with genres reaching across contemporary and classic fiction, memoir, non-fiction, art, design and childrens' books with large section devoted to Genesis editions.

The temporary store can be found at Britomart on the ground floor of the Seafarers Building, 52 Tyler Street, Auckland as well as a small exhibition in the Atrium on Takutai. Open until Christmas, Monday-Saturday 11am-6pm and till 8pm on Thursdays.
