George Harrison Inspired Garden
George Harrison is the focus of a very special garden at the 2008 RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Designed by Olivia Harrison and sponsored by The Material World Charitable Fund, the display is composed of four sections that tell the story of his life through a medium that was very close to his heart.
George, famous for his love of horticulture, once said to Joe Brown, 'I'm in the wrong job. I should have been a gardener really.'
Harrison had been a big fan of the Chelsea Flower show and was often seen taking in the displays, notebook in hand. The Chelsea Flower Show 2008 runs from the 20-24th May with the Harrison-inspired Silver-Gilt Flora Award-winning garden at site number RHW31.
