Congratulations Dr. Jeff Lynne

JeffLynne has been awarded an honorary doctorate from Birmingham University to markhis contribution to music. This year Jeff will also get a star on the HollywoodBoulevard Walk of Fame, but said the recognition from his hometown is just asspecial.

‘Bothhonours are equally important to me, but I never dreamed I’d get a "clever”honour like this. I went to a secondary modern and once I got my first guitarthat was all I ever wanted to do.
