Chris Blackwell Honoured At 2009 Music Week Awards

Chris Blackwell has been named as the most influential figure in thelast 50 years of the British music industry at the 2009 Music WeekAwards. Credited with introducing the world to Bob Marley, U2 andTraffic, the Island Records founder was chosen over such luminaryfigures as Sir George Martin, Brian Epstein and Harvey Goldsmith.

Blackwell contributes extensively and features in Rebel Musicby Kate Simon, the signed limited edition that charts the life of BobMarley through the lens of Kate Simon.
