Bob Dylan: Medals of Freedom


Bob Dylan is to receive the Medal of Freedom, thehighest honour that can be awarded to American civilians. President Obama willpresent Dylan with the award along with fellow recipients including civilrights workers, political figures, war heroes, scientists, and Nobel Prizewinners.

Dylan is being honoured for his 'rich and poeticlyrics', which influenced and documented the 1960s American Civil Rightsmovement. The prize also recognizes the cultural impact he has had over thelast 50 years; Dylan, who turned 71 on Saturday 24th May, continuesto record and tour and is celebrated in no fewer than four Genesis limitededitions available in our current catalogue.
