Bob Dylan in Vietnam
Four decades after his songs formed the soundtrack for the anti-war movement during the US conflict in Vietnam, Bob Dylan is to play his first concert in Ho Chi Minh City on April 10, 2011.
Tickets are available at approximately £27, more than the average monthly wage of most Vietnamese workers.
"The show is on," Brett Davis, a spokesman for the promoters said. Davis said the venue has a capacity of 8,000 and organisers are anticipating "a good mix" of foreign fans and Vietnamese.
