55 Years of Cream's 'Disraeli Gears'
This week 55 years ago,
Cream released their second studio album,
Disraeli Gears. This groundbreaking album became the group's American breakthrough, becoming a massive seller in 1968 and reaching No. 4 on the American charts. The album features the two singles, 'Strange Brew' and 'Sunshine of Your Love'.
The album reportedly took only three and a half days to record which took place at Atlantic Studios, New York in May 1967. On the album's hit song, 'Sunshine of Your Love',
