The Rolling Stones 2013 Glastonbury Set List Painted by Ronnie Wood

50 years of Glastonbury: Ronnie Wood Remembers

This weekend would have seen the 50th anniversary of Glastonbury with Sir Paul McCartney heading the legends slot, but as with all music events this summer, it is postponed with the hope that next year will be a bumper year.

Ronnie Wood spoke on BBC One's The One Show last night to reminisce about the Rolling Stone's headlining appearance in 2013. When asked how it took them so many years to play the famous Worthy Farm venue he said, "Well, it wasn't a jazz club for Charlie, he took a bit of persuading!". Ronnie spoke from his art studio with his Glastonbury set list on display amongst his other artworks.

Ronnie announced that he would be having an exhibition at his "local stately home" Ashridge House from 20th-27th August where he would have 60 new works on display. He said that there would be a small entrance fee of which all the proceeds would go to NHS charities. Click here for details about his exhibition.

Two decades of Ronnie's set lists chronicling the rehearsals, live shows and studio sessions are collected in his limited edition, The Rolling Stones Set Lists. The book is a unique collection of canvases that document sell-out tours across the globe, such as the band's landmark 50 & Counting tour, historic concerts such as 2016's performance in Havana, as well as closed-door sessions for their latest album, Blue & Lonesome.
